This genuine Mercedes part wil allow your iPod to charge on cars with older iPods or a Media Interface / UMI that does not charge the newer iPods.

Media Interface retrofit kit for the Mercedes SL (R230)

This kit allows you to retrofit the factory-fit Media Interface (also known as UCI) to your SL vehicle with COMAND (Hard Disk, MY2009 onward, based)

You will also need to purchase the appropriate cable set to connect your iPod/USB-Stick/etc if you are not plugging an iPhone/3G comfort cradle into it.

This is the Mercedes iPod kit for the new audio units supplied from Model Year 09 (i.e new cars delivered from mid June 08 onwards). This includes the A,B,ML,GL,R,E,CLS,SLK class cars with COMAND or Audio-20. It is also suitable for the Vito/Viano from Model Year 2010 *with* bluetooth built into the head unit. It is not for the CLK.

It is not suitable for the S/CL or the W204 C Class or new W212/W207 E Class/coupe/estate or cars with the Audio-5 (no UK cars have Audio-5), or for the SL or SLS vehicles.

This is an active cradle for the Dension GW500 (D2B & MOST). It allows you to mount an iPod or iPhone on your dashboard to access the controls whislt being connected to the Gateway 500.

This allows you to connect a USB drive or, with optional cable, an iPod to the older Mercedes (pre early/mid 2004) which have the CD based navigation system or single DIN size head units with D2B fibre optic support. (Audio 10, Audio-30, Audio-30 APS & COMAND 2.0)

It pretends to be a CD changer and replaces the existing CD changer.

This is an iPod kit for the newer MOST based cars. We recommend this where the car can not support the Mercedes iPod kit. Such as the W211 E class (and others) without comand.

This is an iPod kit for the newer Mercedes MOST based cars which allows control of the iPod from the head unit display.

This is the optional iPod connection cable for using with a Dension GW500 LITE. Please note that the non LITE version of the Dension MOST includes this.

This is the Mercedes cradle that can be stuck into the glovebox to hold an iPhone, iPod Touch, nano with video or new Classic secure whilst driving. It is suitable for any of the IPOD kits.

You don't need this but we recommend you do use it as it stops rattles and protects your iPhone/iPod.

If your car was specified with the Media Interface (which allows iPod, aux-in and USB connection on the Model Year 2009 audio units which have built in phone systems), you will have a MI connector in the glovebox or centre glovebox, into which you plug the appropriate cable set, or a different extension lead to connect to an iPhone/iPhone3G phone cradle.

This is the standard cable set for the A, B, C, CLS, E, GLK, SL. SLK class vehicles allowing connection of an iPod (or iPhone for music functionality), or a USB stick, or a 3.5mm aux jack for other non iPod music players.
