If your car has the plastic paddle shifts on the steering wheel (nb, not the button version), you can upgrade these to the lovely AMG aluminium paddles.

They will only fit certain R171 SLK and W203 C models with the 3 spoke steering wheel, and certain 4 spoke wheels on W209 CLK, R230 SL and MY07-facelift-onward W211 E and CLS class vehicles.

Please look at your existing paddles and make sure that the shape of the plastic part that fits into the steering wheel is basically rectangular like in the pictures here - if they are tear drop shaped at one end, these are not suitable for your vehicle.

Installation is simple, although you do need a long TORX T30 driver to release the airbag and TX20 to undo the paddles.
