| Media Interface retrofit kit for the new W204 C Class, the GLK and the new E class (W212) and new E Class Coupe (W207) (LEFT HAND DRIVE VERSION) If your vehicle is model year 2012 (code 802) or newer then please ensure you send us the full chassis number so we can make sure you get the correct kit. This kit allows you to retrofit the factory-fit Media Interface to your new C class vehicle with COMAND or Audio-50-APS. The Media interface provide full iPod (or iPhone music functionality) controllable from the Audio system screen and controls and the steering wheel controls/cluster display, a USB memory device interface, or a 3.5mm aux input, depending which cable you are using. It can also be linked to the iPhone / iPhone3G comfort telephone cradle. (You need to purchase the appropriate cable set depending which one of the above functions you which to use). Please also note that early W204 C class may not have the pre-cut cut-out in the main glovebox for the MI connector so you may have to cut the hole it by hand. If you look at the further pictures for this product you can see where the cutout will be (the picture is of a right hand drive car, so on left hand drive cars please check on the correct side - near the centre of the car. Your car's COMAND/Audio-50-APS software may need updating by the dealer (if the car is before model year 2009), and will need the dealer to code the audio unit to tell it there is a Media Interface present.
