If you are installing the Hard Disk based comand in an older car you need to add a bluetooth antenna for the in-built bluetooth to function.

If your current map disk just covers 1-3 countries then you have the CD based system and this disk is not suitable for you, please see our Map CD section. If your car has the Model Year 2009 (from Mid 2008) facelifted units with built in hard disk, again it is not suitable for your vehicle.

This is the new version of the Mercedes Premium Bluetooth solution, the SAP cradle, known as SAP V3 and works with all cars with UHI connections.

It now supports Blackberry as-well as Nokia (and a few Siemens) cradles, has a USB charging port, selectable ring tones.

The genuine Mercedes iPhone telephone cradle is for connecting an iPhone 3G to a car with phone wiring. If you also have an iPod kit or Media Interface in the car, then that will also connect to this with an optional extra cable.

This will not work for the older non-3G iPhone but does work with the 3GS phones. It does not work with the iphone 4.

It charges the iPhone 3G, thus meaning the iPhone's 3G battery won't go flat on you and is slightly cheaper than a Mercedes HFP cradle.
