This is the Fiscon Pro phone bluetooth fully-integrated phone system for Mercedes vehicles built between approx mid 2004 and mid 2008.

It provides bluetooth fully integrated telephony (so you can use it from the Car Radio, Steering wheel controls and instrument cluster display and it uses the car's existing speakers) and if your vehicle does not have a CD changer can be used to stream Bluetooth Audio from a phone that supports it to the vehicle. Such phones include the iPhone and the latest smart Nokia Phones.

W220/W215 last S and last CL class with DVD based COMAND. COMAND may need a firmware update
W164/W251 ML/GL/R class.
R230 SL, DVD based COMAND - 2004/early 2005 cars may need firmware update for head unit.
R171 SLK, Audio 20, Audio-50 and DVD based COMAND.
Viano/Vito/Sprinter with Audio-20, Audio-50-APS or DVD based COMAND. (NOT Audio 5)

NOT SUITABLE for MY2009 onward cars which have Bluetooth built into the head unit, and MY2010 onward Viano/Vito/Sprinter (which have Bluetooth built into the head unit).

NOT SUITABLE for North American or Japanese Vehicles.

Takes about an hour to fit, supplied with fitting instructions (PDF).

Your Audio unit may need coding by Mercedes dealer to enable the fibre optic connection, so will the Instrument Cluster if there is no telephone menu present in the menu system. This is a quick job for the Mercedes dealer.
