It is known as the "2017/2018" version 19 Map DVD and was released in late December 2017. DVD with navigation data for 39 European countries, with major and minor roads, towns, villages and plenty of points of interest: Albania, Andorra, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary and Vatican City. The 2017/2018 version covers the whole of Western Europe. The navigation data on the 2017/2018 version covers over 8.4 million kilometres of road throughout Europe. In Eastern Europe, there is full coverage of all countries except Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria and Macedonia. Coverage of the detailed road network has been extended in the following countries: Albania: +13 percent, Bosnia-Herzegovina: +12 percent, Bulgaria: +6 percent, Macedonia: +22 percent. The 2017/2018 version features over 800,000 towns and communities. Precise navigation to the required house number: This product does not feature expanded house numbers. Focus was placed on updating the house numbers available. Points of Interest (POI): Over 2.6 million key points of interest are featured on the DVD, including filling stations, car parks, museums, restaurants and hospitals. This information was updated for this version, which is why some 180,000 fewer POIs are available compared to the previous version. If required, the navigation system will also show the user the quickest route to 3064 Mercedes-Benz service outlets. Some 129,282 company branches and 4,875 wineries have been added to the new 2017/2018 version. Dynamic route guidance based on the latest traffic data (TMC/RDS): Using the data from the Traffic Message Channel, the navigation system takes into account the latest motorway traffic bulletins and automatically calculates diversions. This convenient service is now available in 12 countries: Road network updates: Map updates include millions of changes, e.g. new roads, crossroads, bypasses, junctions and motorway slip roads and exits. One section of road may feature a whole range of attributes such as house numbers, one-way routing, number of lanes or turning restrictions. The navigation data on the 2016/2017 version covers over 8 million kilometres of road throughout Europe. In Eastern Europe there is full coverage of Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, and now Romania and Montenegro too. Coverage of the detailed road network has been extended in the following countries: Bulgaria: +5 percent, Serbia: +1 percent. The 2015/2016 version features 721,000 towns and communities. Precise navigation to the required house number expanded. There is, for the most part, full house number coverage in central and northern European countries, while coverage has been improved in the following countries: France: +2 percent, Poland: +3 percent, Portugal: +13 percent, Romania: +10 percent, Sweden: +11 percent. Over 2.2 million key points of interest are featured on the DVD, including filling stations, car parks, museums, restaurants and hospitals. There are around 340,000 more POIs here than on the previous version. Some 191,604 restaurants and 43,557 sports centres have been added to the new 2015/2016 version. If required, the navigation system will also show the user the quickest route to 3203 Mercedes-Benz service outlets. Also supported are the smart forfour, Sprinter after 01/06 and Vito/Viano after 04/06. It will not work in North American MCS-II navigation systems brought to Europe.
