This is the set of parts you need to convert a car or van with Audio-5, Audio-10, Audio-30 or COMAND 2.0 (CD based) to the wiring for NTG2.5 Hard Disk COMAND.

This is for vehicles with existing phone systems.

It is not suitable for cars with Harmon Karden or BOSE sound system.

It is known as the Audio-50-ECE V12 map or the "2010/2011" Map CD set and contains 6 CDS

This is the wiring loom you need to add the 3.5mm auxiliary input to W169 A, W245 B, W164 ML, R251 R class, and Vito/Sprinter.

It is used on the W203/W209 if there is no intermediate connector in the footwell.

If you are installing the Hard Disk based comand in an older car you need to add a bluetooth antenna for the in-built bluetooth to function.

This is the single slot 6 CD changer used in the following Mercedes vehicles:

New A class, B Class, new ML, GL, R, new E, CLS, new SLK and the Vito/Sprinter. It is not suitable for Model Year 2009 vehicles which have bluetooth telephony and an optional CD or DVD changer built into the head unit already.

It supports MP3 files on the CD, and fits in a single DIN slot size compartment.

Genuine Mercedes part, equivalent to A211 870 53 90

This kit contains the necessary wiring looms, fibre optics, bolts and bracket to fit the Mp3 Capable 6CD MOST CD changer to your new A or B class vehicle. The CD Changer is installed in the main glovebox and the bracket provides a full width shelf also.

This kit is for the Right Hand Drive (i.e UK/Australia/India) cars as the glovebox is different to LHD cars.

Fitting is easy and takes about 45 minutes, although the COMAND/Audio may need the dealer's diagnostic computer connected to configure it especially if you do not have any of the following options: Phone, Voice Recognition, COMAND-APS, Harmon Kardon sound system.

If your current map disk just covers 1-3 countries then you have the CD based system and this disk is not suitable for you, please see our Map CD section. If your car has the Model Year 2009 (from Mid 2008) facelifted units with built in hard disk, again it is not suitable for your vehicle.

If you have an current A or B class with the Audio-5 head unit and want to install the Audio-20 (NTG2) or DVD based COMAND system then you need this kit which consists of wiring, a new dash-board panel and some fibre optics
